Job Description
Government Account Manager responsible for managing key client accounts at LexisNexis. Implementing strategic plans for business growth and fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand business opportunities
- Building and maintaining enduring, long-term client relationships through regular communication and effective account management practices
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities within assigned accounts
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior account management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Have a proven track record of successfully managing large key accounts in a similar professional role
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
- Be adept at developing and executing strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve targets
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and industry trends within the Account Management function
- Be capable of providing leadership and mentorship to junior account management professionals
- Possess a relevant background in business, marketing, or a related field
- Have a solid grasp of financial principles and the ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively
- Be proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage client accounts efficiently
