Job Description

Healthcare account manager driving integrated delivery network retention and growth for US Foods’ foodservice distribution business. Developing strategies, coordinating stakeholders, and executing customer initiatives nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement successful IDN strategies supporting retention and growth
  • Create tactical plans to meet customer goals and coordinate support teams
  • Conduct monthly calls, quarterly and annual business reviews, and document progress
  • Execute the strategic IDN Playbook, including process guides, scorecards, proformas, Trendview analysis, and risk assessments
  • Grow relationships with C-Suite and Supply Chain leadership
  • Coordinate initiatives with the Business Solutions team and manage business-solution implementation
  • Handle correspondence, meeting minutes, follow-up activities, and communications regarding strategy and organizational changes
  • Perform risk assessments and implement SOS Plans as needed
  • Identify, participate in, and execute prospective IDN opportunities with National Sales leadership
  • Achieve targeted IDN sales plans supporting US Foods’ annual operating plan and healthcare-segment growth
  • Coordinate team resources and support for IDN strategy results
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customer executives, vendors, suppliers, and third-party consultants
  • Travel 50%-75% of the time, including overnight travel

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ work experience in foodservice healthcare industry required
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a Business Solutions Specialist preferred
  • Strategy development and analytical skills
  • Executive level presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships at multiple organizational levels
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Ability to lead a team and build consensus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Proficiency in USF Data Warehouse Applications
  • Limited experience with Access
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time overnight
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Food Service Management, Dietetics or other relevant field required
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity
