Job Description
Medtronic hernia sales specialist driving clinical growth, account strategy, and robotic surgery adoption across Seattle and Tacoma. Managing customer relationships and territory performance.
Responsibilities:
- Drive clinical and procedural excellence in hernia disease management to achieve above-market growth in the assigned territory
- Develop strategic account plans and foster key customer relationships
- Execute robotic integration initiatives
- Leverage sales, education, and program initiatives to accelerate procedural adoption and market conversion
- Build clinical and procedural expertise in the hernia portfolio
- Create and execute targeted strategies to increase hernia market share
- Utilize the Fragment, Expand, & Standardize (FES) model to convert accounts
- Strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders in hernia disease management
- Engage customers to improve patient outcomes and procedural adoption
- Lead integration of robotic surgery into hernia procedures
- Position the hernia portfolio as a key solution for robotic-assisted surgery
- Use advanced selling tools, disease state education, and innovative solutions to drive new business
- Implement market development programs, therapy awareness initiatives, Pace programs, training, and simulation labs
- Achieve or exceed quota
- Execute new product launches
- Forecast effectively and manage opportunities
- Drive to multiple accounts throughout the Western Washington region
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND at least 6+ years experience, OR Associate’s Degree AND at least 4+ years experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree AND at least 2+ years experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Must live or be able to relocate within 50 miles of the territory
- Must reside within the territory
- Valid driver's license is essential
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at time of hire and for duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
