Job Description
HR Operations Specialist focusing on data-driven processes and compliance in a growing tech environment. Designing and implementing HR workflows and systems across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Own and standardize end-to-end HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, employee data management) across several countries.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in each jurisdiction.
- Prepare and validate payroll inputs for multiple jurisdictions (US, Germany, + several others).
- Maintain accurate monthly payroll data: working hours, deductions, bonuses, benefits, leave data, statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll consistency and identify/resolve discrepancies.
- Build HR process infrastructure from scratch including workflows, templates, documentation, and data models.
- Evaluate and implement tools; develop scalable processes before digitalization.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures and policy documents for all core HR processes.
- Develop and own core HR metrics (turnover, headcount, compensation insights, hiring funnel efficiency).
- Build monthly dashboards and trend reports, including root-cause analysis and recommendations.
- Maintain high-quality, audit-ready HR data.
- Coordinate performance review cycles, ensuring timelines are met and documentation is consistent.
- Analyse performance cycle outcomes and identify improvement areas.
- Support recruitment activity with structured tasks such as job description drafting, pipeline tracking, talent sourcing.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in HR Operations, HR analytics, or similar roles - ideally in a fast-scaling tech or startup environment.
- Strong data and analytical skills; advanced Excel/Sheets abilities.
- Experience handling multi-country payroll preparation or payroll data management.
- Comfort working without an existing HRIS - and enthusiasm for building processes and choosing tools from scratch.
- Strong process-orientation, documentation skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage operational workflows across multiple jurisdictions and departments.
- The ability to turn data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Thrives in fast-changing, ambiguous, and scaling environments.
- Experience in Talent sourcing is a plus.
