Job Description
HR Departmental Representative at Duke University School of Medicine. Supporting recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and staff development for the HR Department.
Responsibilities:
- Use HR expertise to support employees and leaders across the department
- Collaborate closely with HR leadership and Chief Administrative Officers
- Manage recruitment for new and replacement positions
- Evaluate compensation by generating regressions, classifying data, and processing salary adjustments
- Support staff growth and development by guiding managers on training opportunities
- Assist with employee relations by drafting corrective actions and maintaining personnel records
- Provide departmental HR support as the first point of contact
Requirements:
- Experience supporting recruitment, compensation, or employee relations
- Familiarity with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, iForms, or dFac
- Knowledge of Duke HR policies and procedures
- Experience coordinating onboarding or training programs
- Two years of business, administrative, and/or supervisory experience with exposure to supervisory or human resource policies and practices related to employee relations.
