Job Description

HR Weiterbildung traineeship for individuals seeking a career in HR/People & Culture. Fully funded program providing core HR skills through online training in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore the entire employee lifecycle through 9 core modules with real-world examples, expert sessions, and hands-on assignments
  • Understand HR’s evolving role and the generalist mindset
  • Learn how to write inclusive job ads, structure hiring processes, run interviews, and build a strong employer brand
  • Design onboarding journeys that foster connection, belonging, and productivity
  • Get tools for setting goals, giving feedback, supporting growth, and creating a learning culture
  • Grasp the basics of fair pay, salary bands, and non-monetary benefits
  • Understand what good offboarding looks like and how exits impact company culture
  • Learn about types of employment contracts, probation periods, termination, and what HR needs to know about German labor law

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Jobcenter or the Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) as a jobseeker (ALG I or ALG II)
  • Eligible for a Bildungsgutschein (training voucher)
  • No prior HR experience required — just motivation and curiosity
