Job Description
Regional HR Business Partner supporting employee relations, compliance, and performance management at Apex environmental consulting firm. Advising CSW leaders and employees while driving HR solutions and investigations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business partner and trusted advisor, providing guidance on all aspects of HR to managers and employees within the CSW division.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, conduct workplace investigations, and support corrective action while ensuring fair and compliant resolutions.
- Facilitate company termination and exit processes and improve related processes.
- Administer the online exit survey platform and conduct one-to-one exit interviews.
- Compile and analyze HR trends and metrics and develop solutions, programs, and policies aligned with business needs.
- Coach managers on effective leadership practices.
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees to support development and high performance.
- Partner with leaders to implement performance management processes.
- Support employee policies, practices, and procedures and provide interpretive guidance.
- Partner with Leave Management COE on leave-of-absence processes and employee accommodations.
- Provide guidance on employment and HR issues including EEO, harassment, ADA, discrimination, colleague disputes, and FMLA.
- Support organizational learning and development initiatives, including training needs assessment, custom course development, and Cornerstone LMS usage.
- Collaborate with Talent Team Centers of Excellence to provide integrated HR solutions and improve processes.
- Support Employee Relations Team special projects, peak capacity periods, and broader Talent Team priorities.
- Evaluate business challenges, develop HR solutions, and reinforce change initiatives.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- BA/BS (preferably in Human Resource Management or related field).
- 6+ years of progressive HR generalist experience with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or employee relations-heavy role.
- Strong knowledge of federal employment-related laws and regulations.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven business acumen employing a consultative approach.
- Ability to evaluate organizational challenges and identify innovative solutions.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
- Record of creativity and problem solving.
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
