Job Description

Inside Sales Representative for Agilent's Cell and Molecular Research Consumables business in Germany. Ensuring smooth digital interactions and managing sales objectives with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Support price implementation —apply increases, and when needed, negotiate with tact and data‑driven rationale.
  • Own day‑to‑day e‑commerce operations for B2B connections and our online store.
  • Drive delivery follow‑up (scheduled ship dates, partial shipments to prevent delays, backorders, and priority lists) and keep customers proactively informed.
  • Handle backorder communications - explain status, set expectations, and de‑escalate when timelines shift.
  • Clear orders for booking - help customers find the correct catalogue numbers and resolve price discrepancies before orders enter the system.
  • Meet sales objectives by driving inbound activities.
  • Proactively collaborate with field and cross Agilent teams to drive a differentiated customer experience.
  • Prepare and manage quotations across defined consumables lines—accurate, timely, and aligned to pricing and contract terms.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer operations/order management within a consumables business.
  • Working knowledge of pricing (implementation, change control, and negotiation basics, impact analysis).
  • Familiarity with B2B e‑procurement and online store workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and the ability to prioritize across multiple customer requests.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills as well as Interpersonal and Presentation Skills in German and English, additional European languages a plus.
  • Fluency with CRM/ERP tools and spreadsheets.
