Job Description

Mid-level Technical Recruiter sourcing top technical talent for a startup client. Conducting screenings and collaborating with hiring managers on job requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and attract top technical talent using various channels.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of engineering candidates.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools to streamline the hiring process.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of recruiting experience is ideal.
  • Sourcing-only is acceptable.
  • Core requirement: engineering hiring exposure.
  • Must have experience hiring or sourcing engineers (software preferred; adjacent technical roles acceptable).
  • Ability to quickly learn role requirements and identify signal in resumes/LinkedIn profiles.
  • Backgrounds that fit: Technical sourcer, Early-career technical recruiter, University recruiting supporting SWE intern/new grad programs.
  • Traits: Strong cognitive ability/problem solving, coachability and responsiveness, high activity and follow-through, genuine interest in tech/engineering.
