Job Description

Key Account Manager expanding Hahnair’s airline distribution partnerships across Latin America and Central America. Managing travel-trade sales, marketing, GDS support, and regional market development from São Paulo.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a firm network with travel agencies, travel associations and governmental tourism institutes
  • Train and present to the travel trade, including visits to travel partners in approximately 10 markets in Latin America and Central America
  • Visit service partners in Mexico and Peru
  • Negotiate agreements with travel partners
  • Promote Hahnair's services in the assigned markets
  • Coordinate marketing activities, including newsletters and trade fairs, with Head Office in Germany
  • Research to support the regional market strategy
  • Maintain accurate records of activities
  • Provide and adhere to the marketing budget
  • Support local Global Distribution Systems (GDS) in coordination with Hahnair Headquarters
  • Supervise IATA/BSP in consultation with in-house Revenue Accounting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience of over 8 years in sales in the Tourism or Aviation industry (Corporate or Leisure)
  • Ability to work in a remote and self-managing environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Hands-on sales experience in other industries is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of conventional GDS systems is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship management and intercultural competence
  • Distinct entrepreneurial mindset
  • Drive for sales results and high self-motivation
  • Business fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, written and spoken
