Job Description
Logistics Operations Specialist providing operational and administrative support within the Transportation Management System. Ensuring data entry and shipment setup accuracy in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and administrative support to MLS logistics team
- Ensure accurate data entry, shipment setup, and system integrity within the Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Enter and validate shipment data within TMS
- Create loads and generate shipping documents (Rate Confirmations, BOL’s, Etc)
- Assist with tracking shipments and flagging exceptions
- Support carrier setup and onboarding processes
- Schedule pickups and appointments
- Maintain accurate shipment and customer data
- Assist with freight audit and invoice validation
- Support plant onboarding and data cleanup
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or related function
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn new systems and processes efficiently
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Interest in developing a long-term career within logistics or operations
