Job Description
Managing Director overseeing Employment and Economic Opportunity Program at AIR. Leading strategy, research, and business development with a focus on underserved populations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior thought leader who shapes strategy and leads cross-sector research
- Drive business development and funder relationships
- Ensure high-quality project execution and mentor staff
- Conduct research studies and support education research initiatives
Requirements:
- Ph.D. or masters degree in public policy, economics, social science, or social service discipline
- A minimum of 15 years of leadership/management experience
- Experience conducting applied research and evaluations
- Proven ability to manage large-scale research projects
- Established networks in the field (federal, state, local, foundation)
