Job Description
Nursing project coordinator advancing Bon Secours healthcare teams’ professional development programs. Managing implementation, metrics, governance, and cross-functional healthcare initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple nursing professional development programs and projects from initiation through implementation and evaluation
- Coordinate cross-functional activities among nursing education teams, operations, technology, analytics, and business stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, work plans, and implementation schedules
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to ensure timely execution
- Assist with program launches, change management activities, and operational readiness
- Ensure project documentation is current, organized, and compliant with organizational standards
- Track program performance metrics, KPIs, milestones, and project health indicators
- Monitor project outcomes against established goals and recommend opportunities for improvement
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, clinical stakeholders, and operational partners
- Support executive presentations, governance meetings, and leadership reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and project execution
- Ensure projects align with organizational priorities, quality standards, and regulatory requirements where applicable
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance nursing professional development operations
Requirements:
- Current Registered PH Nurse (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
- Required Minimum Education: 4 year/Bachelor’s Degree
- Specialty/Major: Nursing, Project Management, Healthcare or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project coordination, healthcare operations, nursing education, professional development or program management
