Job Description

Office Manager supporting day-to-day operations for a UK-based employer from South Africa. Handling communications, logistics, and operational support tasks in a fully remote role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support day-to-day office operations including supplier coordination, facilities admin, and team logistics
  • Handle scheduling, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and internal communications
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
  • Maintain accurate records of office budgets, vendor contracts, and operational documentation
  • Use relevant tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management platforms
  • Support the wider team with onboarding, HR admin, and general business support tasks
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce business overhead

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in office management, operations, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
  • Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
  • Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment.
