Job Description

Territory Sales Manager growing Merits Health Products’ power mobility equipment sales across the US lower 48. Building customer relationships, conducting demonstrations, and expanding territory demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and maintain assigned territory sales efforts throughout the US lower 48
  • Build product demand through genuine customer relationships, prospecting, and partner development
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations of power mobility equipment
  • Educate customers on product offerings, value propositions, and benefits
  • Recommend mobility solutions that meet customer needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction and sales growth
  • Ensure the company delivers on its promises
  • Advance the company’s vision, mission, culture, and values through frequent trust-based, transparent communication
  • Perform business travel as required, including customer visits, product training, clinical settings, stores, and industry events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Related college degree with five (5) years of relevant industry sales experience strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of closely related sales experience, education, and/or training
  • ATP credentials preferred and recognized
  • Must have very strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Must be an extremely detail-oriented self-starter able to work independently and within a team
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Recent/relevant experience with ERP and CRM systems, or ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to effectively manage time and workload
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% as expected by the position; travel may be up to 85%
  • Must read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus
  • Valid US driver's license in good standing, maintained throughout employment
  • SUV, van, crossover, or similar vehicle in excellent running condition and visually appealing
  • Active auto insurance maintained throughout employment
  • Ability to safely lift or move 50–75 pounds
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing, and computer use
  • Must complete Form I-9, pre-employment drug screening, and consumer credit report requirements
