Job Description
Presales Engineer at Motorola Solutions designing end-to-end solutions for first responder agencies in Canada, focusing on mission-critical communication technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working with the Sales Team to deliver customer driven, world class, leading edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the challenges of first responder agencies within Canada.
- Concentrates on mission-critical communications technologies at various levels of complexity: Public Safety grade mobile/portable voice and data networks, Advanced Mobile devices including video, Public Safety mobile broadband networks and devices (LTE), Integrated Command & Control: 9-1-1 Dispatch Consoles, and more.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or Networking.
- Preferred emphasis in Electrical, Wireless, Computer, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Fluency (spoken and written) in both French and English
- Comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
- Proficiency in applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, email and web applications
- Willingness to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
- Attention to detail and a flawless execution mindset
