Job Description

Sales Engineer in the industrial valves sector driving business success in industry and chemistry. Collaborating with stakeholders and expanding customer bases for innovative valve solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase ARI’s business success in the Industry & Chemical sectors
  • Expand and develop new and existing customer business (including in the areas of steam boilers, heat transfer oil/thermal oil, hot-water systems & chemicals)
  • Provide technical and commercial consulting to all market participants (investors, operators, plant builders, industrial planners and industrial trade partners)
  • Develop and implement effective customer strategies through earliest possible project insights (new investments, repairs, plant expansions)
  • Cooperate closely with our experienced inside sales team, field sales colleagues and our product management / technical sales
  • Handle, monitor and successfully secure projects
  • Conduct competitive and market monitoring, including reporting in the CRM system

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in technical sales and project execution in plant engineering / piping / process engineering, ideally with sales experience in the chemical industry
  • Ability to build and maintain sustainable business networks
  • Strong sales affinity combined with solid commercial/business understanding
  • Goal- and closing-oriented with enthusiasm for our products
  • High service orientation, self-driven initiative and motivation
