Job Description
Pricing Strategy Director shaping enterprise PBM offers for SmithRx, a health-tech drug acquisition platform. Leading repricing, RFP pricing, risk analysis, and contract strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales and Proposals teams to craft winning PBM offers, particularly for larger enterprise clients
- Collaborate with Strategy, Partnerships, Legal, Supply Chain, and Revenue teams to drive company growth
- Conduct repricing and member experience analyses of prospect data
- Compose compelling offers for large employers
- Generate pricing and related answers for RFP platforms
- Adapt and refine pricing offers with Sales to suit prospect needs and enable SmithRx to win
- Generate client-ready spreadsheets and presentations for enterprise clients
- Learn and communicate how SmithRx’s business model differs from legacy PBMs
- Evaluate risks associated with pricing and RFP response strategies
- Collaborate with Legal to align pricing and contracting strategies
- Support legal and contractual negotiations related to pricing and reconciliation terms
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience working with pharmacy benefits RFPs, contracts, AWP discount pricing and rebate guarantees
- Experience working with historical claims data to assess and manage risk by conducting reprice and trend analyses
- Experience leading conversations with employers, brokers and pharmacy benefits consultants regarding pharmacy benefits
- Highly proficient with Excel
- Experience leveraging Salesforce, Box, Google Suite, and/or similar technology tools
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional, quantifiable business impact
- Experience in a highly strategic, analytical and operational role in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work well with a wide range of people
- Ability to use data to reach decisions and demonstrate these skills to external stakeholders
