Job Description

Sr. Manager optimizing commercial analytics, sales operations, and performance at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Leading teams and strategic initiatives that help advance global scientific solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance commercial excellence and operational efficiency across the organization
  • Optimize sales processes and analyze performance metrics
  • Implement strategic initiatives enabling commercial teams to better serve customers
  • Manage a successful team
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and other key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute growth-supporting strategies while ensuring operational excellence
  • Perform data analysis and modeling
  • Manage dashboards and KPIs
  • Provide strategic influence
  • Lead teams and projects

Requirements:

  • BS/Masters Degree plus 12 years of experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, or related business functions preferred
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Industry certifications in sales operations, project management, or process improvement methodologies valued
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading cross-functional teams preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, especially Salesforce.com, and business intelligence tools
  • Strong expertise in sales performance analytics, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales incentive programs and compensation structures
  • Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellence in data analysis, visualization, and presentation of insights to executive audiences
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively in a matrix organization
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies
  • Ability to travel up to 2-3 times a year or as needed
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and business process governance
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Experience with change management and organizational development
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and database tools preferred
  • Foreign language skills valued but not required
