Job Description

Operations Manager at The Tutorverse managing logistics and client experience for tutoring. Leading support staff while optimizing processes in New York City.

Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day deployment of instructional staff, solving multi-variable scheduling constraints.
  • Direct, train, and manage operational support staff responsible for data entry, billing, and scheduling.
  • Act as the definitive point of contact for high-expectation B2C clients.
  • Maintain advanced spreadsheet models and CRM pipelines for operations tracking.
  • Identify gaps in tutor capacity and trigger recruitment workflows proactively.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
  • Deep knowledge of NYC geography, transit systems, and school admissions.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in operations, logistics, or dispatch management.
  • Advanced technical fluency in spreadsheet architecture (highly proficient in PivotTables, complex filtering, LOOKUPs, etc.).
  • At least 2 years of experience in high-stakes B2C client management and escalations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing subordinate staff or remote virtual assistants.

Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000
