Job Description
Project Manager responsible for driving service productivity and enhancements at Solenis. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver $10m of productivity over 2 years globally.
Responsibilities:
- Own the productivity program for service
- Deliver $10m of productivity over 2 years, globally
- Create a multi-year pipeline with an MVP then multi-year enhancements to improve sales/service productivity
- Build relationships in the commercial team and build change adoption plans
- Operate at a high operational tempo
- Lead company governance processes and present results to executives monthly
- Run the TMO process for project management and governance using standardized tools
- Capability to lead cross functional project teams that design and execute productivity initiatives
- Capability to articulate and align roles and responsibilities at the project launch
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Process improvement experience and productivity experience preferred
- Led Institutional, Consumer, Industrial or NCH services
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to break down complex problems into discrete small projects
- Ability to scope projects in small and achievable buckets.
- Ability to generate hypotheses and test them rapidly and transition if the hypotheses are rejected.
- Ability to prioritize on the vital few of a project and avoid ‘boiling the ocean.’
- Mental agility- ability to flex and change courses quickly, as situations change.
- Time stewardship and meeting management
- Ability to organize meetings and be a steward of project team time.
- Create meeting agendas before the meeting.
- Build prework and have team members come prepared for meetings.
- Build a meeting strategy where the project team is talking instead of the project manager
- Build a process each meeting updates action item list- specific action, one owner (not a team) and a deadline
