Job Description
Public relations account executive shaping cannabis, psychedelics, and B2B technology communications at KCSA Strategic Communications. Managing media relations, client programs, pitches, and strategic campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all client-facing contact
- Manage day-to-day program involvement, including drafting press releases and pitches
- Consistently develop and strengthen relevant media relationships
- Ideate strategy and execute tactics
- Draft status reports, forecasts, and recaps for senior leaders
- Work primarily within the Alternative Therapies vertical, including cannabis and psychedelics, with some B2B technology accounts
- Help clients tell their stories with clarity, credibility, and purpose
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 months - 3 years prior PR agency experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with ability to take the lead on relevant projects
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Media contacts in the alternative therapies space
- Ability to work in dense, highly regulated markets
- Authorization to work in the United States
- AAE salary range: $50K - $55K
- AE salary range: $55K - $70K
