Job Description

Recruiter managing full-cycle hiring for Knobelsdorff’s energy and specialty contracting operations. Building talent pipelines and employer brand across Illinois.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Energy Division and People & Culture team by attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact through offer acceptance
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and role requirements
  • Provide guidance on recruiting best practices
  • Proactively source and engage active and passive candidates through professional networks, social platforms, recruiting technologies, and targeted outreach
  • Develop and analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends, track performance, and support continuous improvement
  • Represent and promote the KE employer brand at networking events, career fairs, and candidate interactions
  • Serve as the point person for Illinois career events
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates to support long-term talent pipeline development
  • Travel up to 20%

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or enterprise-level hiring
  • Experience managing high-volume or complex recruiting initiatives
  • Travel to the Oglesby, IL office or career events throughout Illinois as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of hiring best practices and candidate experience strategies
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies
  • Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and translate data into actionable insights
  • Tech-savvy with experience in social recruiting and modern sourcing strategies
  • Experience in proactive sourcing on Indeed, LinkedIn, and/or similar platforms
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Experience in the construction/manufacturing industry or craft labor recruiting preferred
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States, as verified through E-Verify
