Job Description
Recruiter managing full-cycle hiring for Knobelsdorff’s energy and specialty contracting operations. Building talent pipelines and employer brand across Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Energy Division and People & Culture team by attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact through offer acceptance
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and role requirements
- Provide guidance on recruiting best practices
- Proactively source and engage active and passive candidates through professional networks, social platforms, recruiting technologies, and targeted outreach
- Develop and analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends, track performance, and support continuous improvement
- Represent and promote the KE employer brand at networking events, career fairs, and candidate interactions
- Serve as the point person for Illinois career events
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates to support long-term talent pipeline development
- Travel up to 20%
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or enterprise-level hiring
- Experience managing high-volume or complex recruiting initiatives
- Travel to the Oglesby, IL office or career events throughout Illinois as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of hiring best practices and candidate experience strategies
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies
- Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and translate data into actionable insights
- Tech-savvy with experience in social recruiting and modern sourcing strategies
- Experience in proactive sourcing on Indeed, LinkedIn, and/or similar platforms
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience in the construction/manufacturing industry or craft labor recruiting preferred
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods
- Ability to work in outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, as verified through E-Verify
