Job Description

Regional Sales Engineer supporting Coface, a global provider of trade credit insurance and business information. Driving presales, technical integrations, API adoption, and strategic customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales teams throughout the presales process.
  • Participate in customer meetings to qualify business and technical requirements.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and high-value presentations.
  • Respond to requests for proposals and technical questionnaires.
  • Develop and articulate value propositions tailored to customer needs.
  • Advise customers on using Business Information solutions and APIs.
  • Support integration projects and data exchange architectures.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Provide support on data quality, data mapping, company identification, and the use of financial indicators.
  • Provide technical support to key accounts and partners.
  • Participate in steering committees and follow-up meetings.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and ways to expand solution usage.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Delivery, Customer Success, and Support teams.
  • Monitor incidents, product enhancements, and specific requests.
  • Represent the customer voice to internal teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of offerings and processes.
  • Promote adoption of digital and API offerings.
  • Train customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Produce documentation, user guides, and presentation materials.
  • Participate in regional initiatives aimed at increasing adoption of Business Information solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in Sales Engineering, Presales, Consulting, or Customer Solutions.
  • Experience in Data, SaaS, Business Information, or APIs.
  • Professional proficiency in French and English.
  • Ability to engage with business stakeholders, technical teams, and decision-makers.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Information and Credit Management solutions.
  • Understanding of REST API, JSON, OAuth, and application integration architectures.
  • Ability to analyze technical exchanges and data flows.
  • Knowledge of data quality, company identification, and reporting challenges.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Consultative, value-driven approach.
  • Strong business development and customer satisfaction mindset.
  • Ability to work in an international environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to prioritize.
  • Team-oriented with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage complex situations and customer escalations.
