Job Description

Regional Sales Representative supporting sales of Flow’s waterjet, fiber laser, and press brake solutions. Managing distributor relationships, technical demonstrations, and customer growth across the Northwest U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Business Manager and assigned distributors with sales activities and account support
  • Deliver formal sales presentations as directed by the RSM
  • Support or lead technical product demonstrations, including preparation, machine setup and operation, application coordination, teardown, cleaning, and sample reporting/shipping
  • Conduct portions of the sales process, including initial outreach, needs assessment, sample cutting, product presentations, ROI analysis, and potentially assisting in closing sales
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with assigned distributors
  • Provide sales and marketing insights, including competitor information and market trends, to Flow stakeholders
  • Visit prospective customers to deliver presentations, provide technical assistance, or support pre-sales activities
  • Occasionally assist with site readiness visits, customer application support, or service recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Sales/Marketing, Business, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in capital equipment sales or relevant industry experience
  • Understanding of, or ability to learn, waterjet technology and applications
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge to support sales and enhance customer service
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, occasionally for extended periods
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
