Job Description

Relationship Manager serving Florida wealth-management clients for Manning & Napier. Advocating for clients while supporting financial planning, prospecting, and advisory-team business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing and enhancing their end-to-end experience across inbound interactions
  • Build knowledge of firm service offerings, financial planning capabilities, investment products, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with Financial Consultants in client meetings via telephone, video conference, and in-person interactions
  • Oversee complex client communications and timely responses to service inquiries and customized reporting
  • Provide broad financial planning support, including helping generate baseline financial plans
  • Initiate new account paperwork and client directives, oversee onboarding and investment objective updates, and drive cross-functional completion of required criteria
  • Coordinate with Wealth Management Associates to ensure accurate and complete client documentation
  • Facilitate preparation of client meeting materials
  • Address and resolve client concerns, escalating complex or unresolved issues to management
  • Coordinate client and prospect meetings and manage advisory-team calendars
  • Collaborate with Marketing partners and internal team members on targeted outreach and campaign initiatives
  • Plan and participate in strategic prospecting initiatives to support pipeline growth and cultivate warm leads
  • Use firm sales and service technologies, digital marketing, client service, and financial planning tools to support growth and engagement
  • Coordinate RFP reviews and response development with the Portfolio Strategies Group

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in Finance, Business, Economics, or Pre-law preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience with an RIA, trust company, bank, brokerage, or financial planning firm preferred
  • Prior direct client relationship or sales experience preferred
  • Series 7 and 66 required, or targeted within first year of employment
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside normal business hours to accommodate client schedules
  • Experience with Envestnet, Salesforce, and Charles Schwab preferred
  • Passion for serving clients and providing an exceptional experience with a fiduciary duty of care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to succinctly summarize complex information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and close attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to achieving goals, urgency, and follow-through
  • Initiative to address challenges and solve problems proactively
