Job Description
MDI Relationship Manager managing and growing Minority Depository Institution client portfolios for Fiserv’s global fintech and payments business. Leading executive relationships, renewals, retention, and solution-driven revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Minority Depository Institution clients through a strategic, consultative approach.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build executive and senior-level relationships.
- Lead contract renewals and renegotiations to retain clients and deliver profitable business outcomes.
- Identify revenue expansion opportunities by aligning client needs, priorities, and Fiserv solutions across multiple lines of business.
- Partner with sales support, marketing, service, and account management teams to address client needs and support operations.
- Understand clients’ strategies, financial performance, and business goals, and recommend solutions supporting growth and profitability.
- Monitor client satisfaction, retention risk, and portfolio performance against revenue, profit, and customer-experience goals.
- Maintain knowledge of banking, payments, and financial-services trends for consultative conversations and solution positioning.
- Work with the Account Manager to resolve client issues promptly and maintain relationship confidence.
- Travel frequently (50%+).
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience managing and growing client relationships, including developing cross-functional strategies that drive revenue growth and retention.
- Experience in banking, payments, or financial services environments working with client portfolios and executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading consultative sales, contract renewals, and negotiations with a consistent record of closing business and delivering measurable results.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to support client communication, reporting, and business planning.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar electronic customer relationship management platform.
- Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- Bilingual communication skills that support relationship management across diverse client communities.
- Frequent travel required (50%+).
- Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.
