Job Description

Sales Consultant building relationships with personal injury attorneys and generating referrals. Promoting The Forge Companies’ settlement planning and wealth management services across Connecticut.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with leadership to develop sales plans, goals, strategies, and budgets
  • Produce new attorney relationship opportunities and capture plans leading to new and profitable business leads
  • Report and track sales lead progress
  • Participate in attorney network organizations to generate business opportunities, including possibly presenting at conferences
  • Maintain communication with attorneys, clients, supervisors, and colleagues to ensure feedback is communicated and acted upon
  • Serve as customer liaison by understanding customer issues, providing solutions where possible, and following through on commitments
  • Research, identify, and execute opportunities in appropriate markets
  • Manage company resources and promote overall brand awareness
  • Maintain accurate client files in the CRM and track relationships in databases and other files
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance and at least 6 years of experience with financial planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business sales and profit growth
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and disciplines to meet client needs
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints
  • Advanced verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to be results-oriented with strong process and execution skills
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with many different personalities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, including delegation of tasks when appropriate
  • Ability to cultivate a network of business contacts, convert relationships into leads, and acquire business
  • Ability to quickly learn and appropriately use technical terms for company services while communicating in an approachable manner
  • Customer-oriented, self-disciplined, and results-focused
  • Excellent to advanced skills in MS Office suite
  • Must be located in Connecticut
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
