Job Description
Manager of Sales Development leading and scaling Sales Development function for SLED market at Mark43. Responsible for managing SDRs and contributing to pipeline creation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale the Sales Development function supporting the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market
- Manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
- Responsible for inbound and outbound pipeline generation across public sector accounts
- Carry an individual pipeline quota and actively contribute to pipeline creation
- Shape the future of sales development at Mark43
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience managing or leading Sales Development or Business Development teams in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
- Demonstrated success leading SDR teams while consistently delivering pipeline results
- Experience carrying an individual pipeline or revenue-related quota alongside people management responsibilities
- Strong coaching skills and a track record of developing early-career sales talent
- Comfort using data and reporting to manage performance and inform decision-making
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations
- Interest in public sector or SLED markets and comfort navigating longer, more complex sales cycles
