Job Description

Sales Development Representative responsible for qualifying leads in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. Engaging prospects and supporting sales pipeline development while working remotely from Malta.

Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Lead Qualification
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, events, and other channels
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and level of interest
  • Qualify leads against ideal customer profiles and hand off sales-ready opportunities to Account Executives
  • Nurture early-stage leads through personalized follow-ups and content sharing
  • Outbound Prospecting
  • Research and identify target accounts and decision-makers within ideal customer profiles
  • Execute outbound campaigns via cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels
  • Generate interest, set qualified meetings, and build strong top-of-funnel opportunities
  • Maintain consistent activity levels and meet weekly/monthly KPIs for outreach and pipeline creation
  • Collaboration & Reporting
  • Partner closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance
  • Work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to ensure smooth lead handoff and effective sales follow-up
  • Track all activities and prospect information accurately in the CRM system
  • Share market insights and competitive intelligence to support overall sales strategy

Requirements:

  • Malta-based, able to work standard US East Coast business hours (9–5 pm)
  • 1+ years in outbound phone sales, SDR, or business development (SaaS and Cybersecurity experience preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Confident phone presence and ability to handle objections
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn, etc) and sales engagement platforms
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target driven
  • Comfortable balancing both inbound responsiveness and proactive outbound prospecting
  • Coachable, adaptable, and eager to grow into a sales career
  • Able to build meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives
