Job Description
Sales Development Representative selling Outcomes pharmacy software to retail pharmacies. Generating opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and presenting client business reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities by selling Outcomes solutions to single- and multiple-store retail pharmacies
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, lead generation, campaigns, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads for fit with the company’s target market and products/services
- Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to closing
- Manage multiple sales stages involving multiple products and decision-makers
- Develop product knowledge and communicate product value to customers
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
- Use Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, sales forecasts, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with Sales Management, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Implementation teams
- Conduct and present Quarterly Business Reviews to the top 15% of assigned clients at client locations
- Summarize performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and address client needs and concerns
- Grow the Outcomes client base and market share while achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual quota targets
Requirements:
- 3 years in healthcare technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Associates or equivalent work experience in business, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Pharmacy Segment and healthcare IT solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to travel as needed to client sites and industry conferences
- Keen understanding of the Pharmacy space
- Strong healthcare information technology industry, regulatory, and product knowledge
- Commitment to continuous education
- Proven negotiation and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and CRM usage
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to facilitate and adopt change internally and externally
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Strong delegation skills
- Ability to adapt to modernization of tools to communicate with clients
- Ability to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 25%
