Job Description
Remote Sales Director growing Critical Power/UPS business for Pearce, a North American infrastructure services provider. Leading complex sales, proposals, negotiations, and customer partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and develop new revenue opportunities within the Critical Power/UPS market
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders
- Lead the sales process from initial outreach through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on pricing strategies, service solutions, and customer-specific proposals
- Oversee RFP responses, quotations, presentations, bids, and marketing materials
- Interpret customer requirements and align Pearce services and capabilities with operational and technical needs
- Analyze and communicate contractual, technical, and commercial requirements internally to support bid strategies
- Deliver customer presentations and communicate Pearce’s value proposition to executive-level audiences
- Support strategic sales plans to expand market presence and customer base
- Participate in industry conferences, networking opportunities, and customer-facing events
- Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, leadership, and subject matter experts
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity in the Critical Power/UPS sector
Requirements:
- 5+ years of successful sales, business development, or account management experience
- Experience preferably within Critical Power, UPS, electrical infrastructure, telecom, HVAC, generator services, or related technical industries
- Proven track record of generating new business, growing revenue, and closing complex sales opportunities
- Experience developing and presenting customer proposals, RFP responses, quotations, and sales presentations
- Ability to communicate company value propositions clearly and effectively through written, verbal, and presentation-based communication
- Success working in cross-functional and multi-division environments with executives, operations, finance, and technical subject matter experts
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage customer discussions through contract closure
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into strategic service solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, charismatic, and proactive professional with strong organizational and relationship-building skills
- Ability to operate independently in a remote environment while collaborating across multiple time zones
- Experience participating in industry events, networking, and customer engagement activities preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, proposal development tools, and sales reporting platforms preferred
- Must live close to San Francisco and Northern Virginia
