Job Description
Sales Engineer at Kognitos acting as a technical expert in the sales process. Collaborating with sales team to demonstrate value of AI automation platform to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales to understand client requirements and design technical solutions.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-value to prospective clients.
- Client Focus - Translate complex technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Success, Product and Engineering, to tailor solutions for client needs.
- Respond to technical RFPs, RFIs, and proposals as needed.
- Conduct discovery sessions to assess client workflows, automation opportunities, and integration requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Kognitos’ platform capabilities, integrations, and AI-driven automation solutions.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on customer requirements and potential product improvements.
- Support post-sales handoff to ensure smooth implementation and customer success.
- Recruit, Enable and Support Kognitos Channel Partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or in a pre-sales technical role, ideally in AI automation, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Strong technical background, with proficiency in Python and experience with APIs or automation platforms (Blue Prism, Mulesoft, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience managing multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Startup experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
