Job Description
Sales Engineer at SOTI developing consultative sales strategies for mobile management solutions. Engaging with clients to present technical support and product demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow revenue through consultative selling with clients and prospects
- Provide email and telephone-based presales technical support for software products
- Perform production demonstrations that articulate the business and technical value of SOTI solutions
- Collaborate consultatively with the regional sales team and stakeholders
- Educate and facilitate SOTI solutions addressing business and technical outcomes
- Present the solution architecture, including all technical aspects of the product and supporting systems
- Provide pre-sales technical support, installing and configuring enterprise software solutions during POC to prospective customers
- Communicate with internal product development teams to resolve product issues & generate recommendations for product roadmaps
- Assist with the execution of internal team projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in mobile device management solutions and enterprise mobility (Android, iOS, Linux, Windows), BYOD, SaaS
- Prior experience working in a technical customer-facing role, ideally as a pre-sales / sales engineer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of computer networking principles (DNS, IP network, Firewalls, etc.)
- Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Application Management (IAM), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Identity provider (IdP)
- Knowledge of certificate authorities, certificate management & distribution, and encryption methodologies (SHA1/2, TLS, etc.)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP protocol, and identity management systems
- Understanding and experience with Databases (MS SQL server, MY-SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Understanding or knowledge of business processes & sales cycle
- Knowledge of containerization and virtualization
- Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision
- Nice to Have: Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) - Exchange or equivalent experience, understanding of Cloud Computing or certification like AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Android Enterprise Professional, any formal sales training - value selling, SPIN, Miller Heiman, understanding of Rest APIs and coding (Java Scripting, HTML, etc.), experience with customer service / Incident management software, multilingual capabilities
