Job Description

Sales Manager expanding customer portfolio in MedTech and pharmaceutical industry. Driving new business opportunities and building customer partnerships across Europe with travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Win new business.
  • Build customer partnerships.
  • Drive growth.
  • Identify, approach and acquire new customers within defined target markets and industries.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs and business opportunities.
  • Build and develop a strong sales pipeline to support sustainable growth.
  • Generate new business opportunities and convert them into long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop existing customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives across products and services.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor to customers.
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing and contract terms.
  • Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through successful closing.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of business opportunities.
  • Maintain complete and transparent customer documentation in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Project Management and other internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate customer requirements and support successful project execution.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire customer journey.
  • Support problem-solving and escalation management when required.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events and customer meetings.
  • Deliver professional customer presentations and business discussions.
  • Strengthen the company's market presence and industry network.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of proven B2B sales experience
  • Ideally experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical packaging, CDMO/contract manufacturing, life sciences or another highly regulated industry
  • Proven success in new business acquisition and customer development
  • Experience in commercial negotiations and contract management
  • Strong CRM and MS Office skills
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe (up to 70%)
