Job Description
Cytiva sales specialist selling downstream hardware and technical solutions across France. Managing customer relationships, sales opportunities, technical support and revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Cytiva’s Downstream Hardware solutions and equipment across the assigned territory covering France.
- Provide high-level technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales discussions, product demonstrations, technical trainings, post-sales support, seminars, tender support and promotional events.
- Consult customers on downstream process applications and lead technical and process-related conversations with engineering teams and subject matter experts.
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with existing accounts.
- Contribute to regional account plans and maintain an active sales funnel in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Prioritize selling activities, ensure strong territory coverage and collaborate cross-functionally with account management, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal and scientific support.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- Several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology or bioprocessing industry, preferably gained in multicultural or multi-country environments.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Willing and able to travel regularly, up to approximately 50%, throughout the assigned territory and internationally.
- Hold a valid EU driving license (category B).
- Project management experience within biopharmaceutical manufacturing or downstream processing environments is a plus.
