Job Description

Product Sales Specialist growing GE Vernova’s Grid Automation asset-management and monitoring solutions in the southeastern United States. Managing customer opportunities, forecasts, specifications, and sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Key Account Managers in driving penetration of the Grid Automation portfolio, specifically Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics offerings, into direct accounts and new customer targets
  • Develop new opportunities and drive adoption of new products
  • Engage customers proactively to expand adoption of the Grid Automation portfolio
  • Manage sales opportunities and forecasts using Salesforce
  • Meet or exceed orders and sales plans
  • Determine customers' Critical To Quality metrics and appropriate product/service solutions
  • Present and sell the value of products and services within the Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics portfolio
  • Influence customer specifications and close key deals
  • Link customers with commercial operations, marketing, engineering, and product development teams
  • Develop and cultivate long-term customer relationships
  • Provide input to account plans and growth actions
  • Discuss the value of the Grid Automation portfolio at a high level

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing technical or sales experience within utility or industrial marketplaces
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
