Job Description

Time and labor processor managing payroll compliance, timecard analysis, and ERP reconciliation for L3Harris Technologies. Improving processes and supporting audits across domestic and international divisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage application, compliance, and posting/reconciliation of time and labor for designated divisions, including international groups
  • Analyze and post labor to financial ERPs and payroll applications in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and analyze payroll entries, identify and resolve root causes, and track issues through resolution
  • Identify timecard-system compliance issues and formulate requirements, test cases, testing, communications, and implementation plans
  • Respond to inquiries from employees, internal departments, and outside partners
  • Participate in special projects
  • Research and provide records for audits and ensure SOX controls are complete
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive implementation results
  • Analyze timecard data for policy and legal compliance, inquiries, trending, and root-cause analysis
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and standardize procedures
  • Leverage digital tools and AI technologies to automate time and labor processes, optimize reporting, and provide actionable insights
  • Serve as liaison between payroll, HR/benefits, and accounting teams to resolve timecard issues
  • Document and maintain processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years minimum prior relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in time & labor, compliance, human resources, finance or payroll preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • Computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Practical experience in root cause analysis, analytical thinking, independent judgment, initiative, multitasking, customer service, prioritization, flexibility, and teamwork
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
