Job Description
Senior BD/Account Manager managing trading-platform accounts, TVL, and gross profit. Building tailored solutions and feeding client insights into product development across Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of named accounts tiered by value and growth potential
- Own total value locked (TVL) and gross profit for the assigned book of business
- Execute structured monthly touchpoints across accounts
- Share product news, new listings, research, key statistics, and feature updates
- Schedule calls and conduct in-depth discovery of trading profiles, venues, volumes, needs, and challenges
- Maintain account information as a living record in company systems
- Identify requirements and create tailored commercial solutions
- Sketch viable structures and quantify economics and risks
- Escalate internally as needed to resolve client needs
- Help structure deals that may become products for broader adoption
- Gather and relay product feedback, feature requests, and competitor insights to the product roadmap
- Follow through to ensure feedback is actioned
- Log every interaction, touchpoint, client need, and internal escalation in operational systems
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in account management, client coverage, solutions sales, or sales engineering, ideally within an exchange, prime brokerage, trading infrastructure, fintech, or enterprise software environment
- Ability to detail a self-built playbook, pipeline hygiene approach, and pre-call preparation systems
- Ability to rapidly understand complex financial products, including derivatives mechanics such as perpetual swaps, funding, and fee structures
- Prior derivatives or crypto experience strongly preferred but not required
- Proven ability to master complex concepts quickly
- Ability to operate independently and build materials from internal wikis and data dashboards
- Exceptional written communication skills
