Job Description

Identify and develop new business opportunities in BESS applications for battery lifecycle management. Collaborate with energy sectors and support sales strategy execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities primarily focusing on BESS applications, targeting energy storage providers, utility companies, OEMs, EV manufacturers, and battery lifecycle partners (second-life and recycling) while leveraging expertise in utility-scale storage solutions and grid integration.
  • Support managing the sales cycle and hold responsibility for your assigned clients and target Industry.
  • Identify and evaluate growth potentials and technology trends in the battery industry, the Second Life market, the recycling industry, and other relevant industries.
  • Create reports and sales presentations to support the growth of commercial and partnership stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain an accurate customer intelligence base for future product development.
  • Conducted and drove relevant market and competitive intelligence closely aligned with the head of sales and the team.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop and execute strategic campaigns.
  • Provide market feedback to the Product Manager, Designer, and Tech Team to improve the Circunomics products and services.
  • Representation of Circunomics and active participation at trade shows, conferences, client meetings and in industrial and academic networks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, MBA, sales or equivalent in experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing and executing automotive business accounts and selling high-end technology solutions.
  • Proven experience working with energy/automotive and/or battery players: Mobility OEMs, tier-1s, system integrators, EV players, Energy storage Companies, Recyclers, or within the Second Life Market of Lithium-Ion Batteries.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and achieving ambitious targets.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to challenges and getting-things-done perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills in the English and German language.
  • Bonus points for Experience in Green Tech startups, IoT, or Energy is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in acquiring and managing key accounts.
  • Technical understanding is a plus.
  • Interest in Automotive / Car’s/Electric Vehicle is a Plus.
