Job Description

Senior Connectivity Partner Manager optimizing strategic hotel supply and managing API connections for a leading travel platform. High impact role focusing on commercial strategies and technical details.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop partnership roadmaps, supply strategies, and optimization programs with hotel groups while managing the API connections to third party inventory partners.
  • Execute a global win-win strategy for your portfolio that drives value to all parties and positions the platform as a top performing demand channel.
  • Create Objectives and KPIs that support the goals of the business and its enterprise partners.
  • Manage the stability, reliability, and growth of the APIs between the platform and its third party inventory partners.
  • Leverage data to make decisions and design projects that best expand and enhance availability and revenue through existing partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze over and under performance, market trends, growth opportunities, and anomalies, and regularly communicate performance to executives using production data and global market insight.
  • Work with partners to ensure the partnership is held to the highest industry standards and that commercial agreements and SLAs are met.
  • Build close working relationships with key internal teams to unlock the right levels of support and enhancements that drive revenue.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and formal presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Work cross-functionally to execute changes at scale, partnering closely with Market Management as a subject matter expert in enterprise groups and third party inventory to drive property performance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in hotel connectivity roles with both hands-on technical responsibilities and accountability for driving commercial business outcomes.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end API integrations and commercial relationships with third party inventory providers such as bed banks, wholesalers, and OTAs, including accurate property mapping, real-time availability, rates, and inventory synchronization, and error resolution.
  • A track record of designing and executing on strategic priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to influence the roadmap and ensure technical feasibility meets business objectives.
  • Experience analyzing, structuring, and negotiating complex deals that align across multiple business unit needs.
  • Comfort performing data analysis and making decisions based on the results.
  • Experience developing and selling complex business solutions at the C-Suite level, with strong executive presence and the ability to influence top leaders internally and across the industry.
  • A proactive self-starter who prioritizes and manages work autonomously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time, which may include time in company offices for team meetings and co-working.
