Job Description
Senior Director at Gartner creating impactful research for AI transformation in procurement. Leading innovative research initiatives and advising clients on business strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative, engaging, and high-impact research content considered essential
- Develop new research and ideas through thought leadership
- Be able to take firm positions supported by factual evidence
- Develop in-depth analyses to identify the root causes of client obstacles or needs
- Demonstrate thought leadership by establishing research positions within an analyst team
- Provide independent and provocative perspectives to Gartner leaders
- Research, analyze, and anticipate market trends and shifts
- Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice aligned with their content domain
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of relevant experience in the field or industry
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs
- Proven excellence in research and writing
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions
- Proficiency in data analysis and synthesis; ability to effectively apply models and frameworks
- Strong communicator able to explain complex concepts concisely and simply
- Subject-matter expert comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale events
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape in the domain
