Job Description
Senior Energy Consultant focusing on financial modeling and due diligence in the energy sector. Engaging with utilities and power project developers for financial analysis and planning.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial models for planned new energy projects
- Perform due diligence evaluations of power projects
- Develop operation and maintenance cost estimates for existing power plants
- Perform feasibility studies for proposed power projects
- Prepare economic evaluations to assess potential power plant retirements and/or replacements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or engineering
- 12+ years of experience in the power industry
- Financial modeling of power projects and energy infrastructure
- Technical knowledge in multiple power generation technologies – solar, battery energy storage, wind, nuclear, and thermal power
- Valued but not required skills: Experience in calculating revenue requirements, long-term power supply and transmission planning, EV charging infrastructure, LNG projects, or desalination project experience.
