Job Description

Senior Google Ads Media Specialist leading paid search, display, and video advertising initiatives for a company focused on building brands on Amazon. Requires data-driven strategies and analytical skills for campaign optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, Shopping, and retargeting.
  • Build strategic account structures focusing on efficiency, scalability, and revenue growth.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Implement robust bid strategies, conversion tracking, and attribution models.
  • Continuously evaluate performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests on ad copy, landing pages, creative elements, and bidding strategies.
  • Leverage automation tools (smart bidding, scripts, rules) to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor budget pacing and adjust allocation to maximize ROI/ROAS.
  • Own end-to-end performance reporting, insights, dashboards, and forecast models.
  • Analyze trends to identify risks and opportunities in real time.
  • Present campaign findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with creative, SEO, product, and analytics teams to ensure campaign alignment.
  • Mentor junior team members in paid media best practices and tools.
  • Stay current with industry trends, algorithm changes, and new platform features.

Requirements:

  • 4–7+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads at scale.
  • Demonstrated history of improving ROAS, lowering CPA, and increasing conversion volume.
  • Expert proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Data Studio/Looker.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with large budgets (e.g., $500K+/month).
  • Google Ads Certification required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced agency or high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with additional paid media platforms (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads).
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) or SaaS funnel optimization.
  • Ability to create compelling ad copy or collaborate with creative teams.
