Job Description

Senior Growth Consultant focusing on employer group pharmacy benefit business growth for health plans. Collaborating with brokers and executives to strategize medical and pharmacy sales processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support health plans commercial employer business through all aspects of the sales process
  • Partner with assigned client to assist in their overall medical & pharmacy sales strategy
  • Engage local brokers, consultants, and prospective clients
  • Develop overall sales strategy with sales and pharmacy executives at health plan client
  • Gather, analyze, and disseminate market competitive intelligence
  • Day-to-day contact to support overall strategy and initiatives
  • Daily engagement with health plan medical/pharmacy & sales executives
  • Build and maintain strong broker/consultant relationships
  • Create and execute action plan for each opportunity
  • Manage pharmacy sales bid process including kick off meeting, bid responses, and overall RFP evaluation
  • Conduct analysis for key opportunities
  • Assist with finalist preparation and participation
  • Review and deliver Rx reporting package discussing trend drivers and recommended solutions
  • Maintain complete knowledge of the Health Plan contract
  • Track/Analyze Sales Force documentation of meetings and opportunities

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare consulting industry dynamics
  • Medical network evaluations and analysis
  • Knowledge of the TPA medical model
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • 10+ years of sales/business development experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience communicating with VP and C-level contacts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and report on common sales metrics
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strategic business decision-making experience
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and PBM industry required
  • Strong focus on book of business client satisfaction and client retention results
  • Demonstrated strong project management ability
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 15%.
