Job Description

Senior Manager of New Business Development in a pharmaceutical solutions company. Focusing on client relations, market trends, and strategic projects for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop organic growth opportunities with existing clients
  • Establish new business relationships with emerging and prospective customers
  • Engage with senior executive, operational, and functional leaders
  • Collaborate on overall new business development strategies and client management action plans
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and initiate outreach to new clients
  • Lead capability presentations and solution discussions
  • Maintain accountability for achieving defined new business targets
  • Lead or support strategic projects providing insights and recommendations
  • Analyze business intelligence, client profiles, and market data
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in business development or similar roles
  • Demonstrated experience developing and closing complex, solution-based opportunities with enterprise clients
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Proven strategic thinking, sales execution, forecasting, and business planning capabilities
  • Experience developing client proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to generate new leads and manage opportunities
  • Flexibility to travel across Canada and the U.S. (approximately 20%)
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
