Job Description
Senior Manager of New Business Development in a pharmaceutical solutions company. Focusing on client relations, market trends, and strategic projects for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop organic growth opportunities with existing clients
- Establish new business relationships with emerging and prospective customers
- Engage with senior executive, operational, and functional leaders
- Collaborate on overall new business development strategies and client management action plans
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and initiate outreach to new clients
- Lead capability presentations and solution discussions
- Maintain accountability for achieving defined new business targets
- Lead or support strategic projects providing insights and recommendations
- Analyze business intelligence, client profiles, and market data
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in business development or similar roles
- Demonstrated experience developing and closing complex, solution-based opportunities with enterprise clients
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proven strategic thinking, sales execution, forecasting, and business planning capabilities
- Experience developing client proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Ability to generate new leads and manage opportunities
- Flexibility to travel across Canada and the U.S. (approximately 20%)
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
