Job Description

Senior Product Marketing Manager owning go-to-market for Gracenote’s AI-powered scene-level video intelligence portfolio. Defining category messaging, launches, enablement, and market intelligence at Nielsen.

Responsibilities:

  • Author the market narrative for scene-level video intelligence
  • Develop segment-level value propositions for platform and distribution buyers, content owners, and the advertising ecosystem
  • Build and maintain messaging architecture, proof-point libraries, and terminology standards
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on AI video-understanding vendors, platform-native capabilities, metadata, and ad-tech players
  • Run structured discovery with prospects, design partners, and internal commercial teams
  • Feed evidence-based requirements and prioritization input to product
  • Own launch strategy and execution across the portfolio
  • Build collateral and narratives for early-access and design-partner programs
  • Track post-launch adoption and drive iteration
  • Produce sales and partnership enablement materials, including pitch narratives, decks, battlecards, demos, one-pagers, FAQs, and objection-handling guidance
  • Own buyer-facing answers regarding content rights, model training boundaries, retention, tenant isolation, explainability, and classification accuracy
  • Support strategic and design-partner opportunities
  • Brief analysts and represent the portfolio at industry events
  • Collaborate on campaigns, web content, bylines, webinars, and case studies
  • Partner with product management, engineering, sales, business development, partnerships, corporate marketing, legal, security, privacy, and executives

Requirements:

  • Seven or more years in product marketing
  • Meaningful experience at a senior or lead level in B2B technology, data, or media technology
  • Expertise in segmentation, positioning frameworks, messaging development, launch management, competitive analysis, and enablement
  • Working knowledge of the video ecosystem, including streaming and CTV, FAST and ad-supported models, linear and live, device platforms and operating systems, distributors and aggregators, studios, and content packagers
  • Understanding of how content metadata drives discovery surfaces, program guides, recommendations, and ad targeting
  • Technical knowledge of multimodal AI and modern retrieval, including embeddings and vector search, semantic and natural-language search, ontologies and taxonomies, knowledge graphs, entity resolution, APIs, and data feeds
  • Experience taking new or category-creating products to market
  • Experience marketing the same underlying technology to structurally different buyers
  • Clear, dense, persuasive writing skills
  • Proven ability to align product, sales, partnerships, legal, and executive stakeholders without formal authority
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or equivalent experience welcome
  • Advertising technology exposure preferred, including contextual targeting, dynamic ad insertion, brand suitability, or measurement
  • Familiarity with content metadata standards, industry consortia, or interoperability initiatives preferred
  • Experience with data licensing or data-product business models preferred
  • International or multi-region go-to-market experience preferred
