Job Description
Senior Sales Development Executive driving outbound prospecting in priority verticals for a nonprofit focused on public safety. Engaging with stakeholders to build pipeline and drive revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic outbound prospecting into key verticals (e.g., utilities, public safety, telecoms, insurers), surfacing intent signals and account intelligence to prioritize opportunity development.
- Rapidly test and iterate messaging across outreach channels to identify patterns of receptivity and vertical-specific friction.
- Drive high-quality top-of-funnel activity through email, LinkedIn, and event-based networking with credibility and strategic fluency.
- Lead structured discovery conversations to qualify pain points, map stakeholders, and assess GTM fit.
- Generate concise pre-call briefs and post-call notes to support seamless handoffs and accelerate multi-touch deal progression.
- Capture market insights, common objections, and new product requirements for synthesis with commercial and product teams.
- Collaborate directly with the CCO on outbound prioritization, vertical segmentation, and resource allocation decisions.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years in a B2B sales or outreach role, preferably in SaaS, govtech, or infrastructure.
- Track record of building pipeline through outbound efforts.
- Confident communicator with senior stakeholders (directors, VPs, agency leads).
- Strong writing skills and ability to tailor messages by vertical.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Clay and modern prospecting tools.
- Mission-aligned, self-directed, and eager to build something meaningful.
