Job Description

Senior Technical Recruiter responsible for end-to-end technical hiring at a healthcare AI startup. Building recruitment processes and excellent candidate experiences for engineering and data roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles across engineering, infrastructure, data, and product-adjacent teams
  • Partner closely with engineering leaders to define roles, calibrate scope and seniority, and align on hiring priorities
  • Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles using outbound, referrals, and targeted market mapping
  • Screen candidates with a strong technical lens, assessing both depth of expertise and ability to succeed in a startup environment
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on talent market conditions, compensation expectations, and tradeoffs
  • Manage candidate experience from first touch through offer close, ensuring clear communication and strong engagement
  • Drive process improvements across candidate outreach, interviewing, calibration, and closing to support fast but thoughtful hiring
  • Track pipeline health, identify hiring risks early, and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • Partner with People and Finance Teams to support headcount planning and scalable recruiting practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within B2B SaaS startups or high-growth tech companies
  • Proven ability to hire senior and specialized technical talent (backend, platform, infrastructure, machine learning)
  • Strong outbound sourcing skills and comfort engaging passive candidates
  • Ability to understand complex technical roles and translate them into compelling candidate narratives
  • High ownership mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and lean team environments
  • Passion for building teams and processes, not just filling roles
