Job Description
Software Developer at Helm creating and enhancing features for maritime operations software. Collaborating across the stack to improve solutions for marine crews.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and system integrations per project specifications.
- Execute WSDOT data migrations and integrations to time and quality targets.
- Conduct first-pass code reviews and maintain team code quality standards.
- Produce accurate project estimates (target: <30% variance).
- Achieve 80%+ billable utilization across PS engagements.
- Use Claude Code and OpenAI Codex per Helm's AI SOP to accelerate development output.
Requirements:
- 3+ years full-stack development experience.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, T-SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience delivering in agile, client-facing PS environments.
- Strong code review skills and attention to quality.
- Comfortable working remotely with async and European-timezone teams.
- Genuine interest in AI-assisted development tools.
